Which calculator should I use?
- Planning savings or investments? The SIP Calculator shows what regular monthly investing could grow to, and the Compound Interest Calculator shows how a single lump sum grows.
- Taking a loan? The EMI Calculator gives the monthly payment and the total interest, so you can compare tenures before you commit.
- Pricing or checking an invoice? Use the tax calculator for your country: India GST, UK VAT, Australia GST or USA sales tax. Each can add tax to a price or work out the tax already included.
- Growing an audience? The Engagement Rate Calculator shows how much of your audience responds to a post, and the YouTube Earnings Calculator estimates ad revenue from views.
How accurate are these calculators?
Each calculator uses a standard, published formula, and the page for each one shows the formula, a worked example and its limits. They are designed for estimating and for understanding how the numbers work. Real loans, investments and tax situations have extra details, such as fees, changing rates and special rules, so for decisions that matter, check the figures with your lender, adviser, accountant or the relevant tax authority.
Tax rates change. Where the rate is something you choose, such as India's GST slabs or the UK's three VAT rates, we say which rates are current and point to the official source to confirm them.
Are they private?
Yes. The calculators run entirely in your browser: the numbers you type are not sent anywhere, and there is nothing to sign up for.
