This tool reads barcodes back using your device camera or an uploaded photo, decoding the value directly in your browser — nothing is uploaded to a server. It covers common 1D formats like CODE128, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, CODE39, ITF-14, MSI, Pharmacode, and Codabar, plus 2D formats like QR codes and Data Matrix.

Hold the barcode flat, fill more of the frame with it, and make sure there's enough light and minimal glare. For photo uploads, a sharp, well-lit, straight-on shot works best — blurry or angled images are the most common cause of a failed scan.
