Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Quikbench ("we", "us", the "Service") at quikbench.com. By using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What Quikbench does

Quikbench provides file conversion, PDF and AI photo tools. Most conversion tools run entirely in your browser at no cost. Some features — batch processing, certain advanced formats, and Pro-quality PDF compression — require a paid Pro subscription and are processed on our servers. AI photo tools (such as the Image Upscaler, Background Remover, Face Restorer, Photo Colorizer and Passport Photo Maker) run on AI credits, which are separate from Pro.

2. Accounts

Some features require creating an account with an email and password. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information, use an email address you own, and be legally able to enter into these terms. Each person may hold only one account.

3. Pro subscription and payment

• Pro access is sold in fixed 30-day periods that you renew manually from your account page whenever you need it. If you renew before your current period ends, the new period is added on top of the days you have left. If you choose Autopay, your Pro access renews automatically every month at the Autopay price until you cancel — you can turn this off anytime from your account page, and you keep access until the current paid period ends.
• Prices are shown at checkout in your selected currency and are payable via our payment processor, Razorpay.
• Pro gives immediate digital access, so Pro and Autopay payments are final and non-refundable (see “No refunds” below).
• Pro does not include AI credits, and AI credits do not include Pro.

4. AI credits

• Free daily credits. Visitors can use a number of free AI credits (currently 4) without creating an account, and accounts with a confirmed email address receive the same allowance. Free credits refill 24 hours after you first use them. Buying credits or a plan requires an account. Unused free credits don't carry over. Free credits are a promotional allowance: they have no cash value, can't be transferred, and we may change the amount or end the offer at any time.
• Purchased credits. Credit packs are bought through Razorpay at the price shown at checkout. Purchased credits don't expire, can be used on any AI tool, and are linked to your account — they have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged for money. Credit purchases are final and non-refundable (see “No refunds” below).
• How credits are used. Each AI tool shows its cost before you start. Free credits are always used before purchased ones. If a job fails, the credits for the failed images are returned to your balance automatically.
• Fair use. Creating multiple accounts, using temporary email addresses, or using automated tools to collect free credits isn't allowed. We may remove free credits, suspend free access, or close accounts involved in this kind of abuse.

No refunds

• All payments — Pro, Autopay renewals, credit packs and any other paid feature — are final. We do not offer refunds, partial refunds or credit for unused time or unused credits.
• If an AI job fails, the credits it used are returned to your credit balance automatically. This is the only form of compensation for failed jobs; credits are not converted back into money.
• If you were charged more than once for the same order because of a payment error, write to support@quikbench.com with the payment reference and we'll correct the duplicate charge.
• Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be excluded.

5. AI results

AI tools create new images based on your photo, and results can vary — they may contain mistakes, look different from what you expected, or not suit every purpose. Please review every result before you rely on it.

Animate Old Photos and the AI Photo Editor create new video or images from your photo, so people's faces, expressions and details may differ from the original. Review the result before you share or use it, and don't present AI-generated or AI-edited images as authentic records.

The Passport & ID Photo Maker sizes photos to published requirements, but we can't guarantee that any authority, embassy, exam board or other organisation will accept a photo. You're responsible for checking their current requirements and for making sure your photo meets them. Photos must show your real appearance — don't use the tools to misrepresent anyone's identity.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or process files you don't have the legal right to possess or convert (e.g. content that infringes someone else's copyright).
• Upload photos of other people without the right to do so, or use the tools to harass, impersonate, deceive or harm anyone.
• Create sexual or explicit content, content involving minors in any inappropriate way, or any other illegal material.
• Create fake or misleading identity documents or photos for fraud.
• Create false, forged or misleading financial or business documents — for example salary slips, rent receipts, invoices, quotations or delivery challans for payments or sales that didn't happen — or use any document made with Quikbench to deceive a bank, lender, employer, tax authority or anyone else. You are responsible for the accuracy of every document you create.
• Use our QR code or UPI tools to mislead people about who they are paying, or to imitate another business.
• Use the animation or editing tools to create misleading or deceptive content about real people — for example, to make someone appear to say or do something they didn't, or to produce fake evidence.
• Use the AI Image Generator or AI Video Generator to create sexual or explicit content, graphic violence, content that promotes self-harm, deepfakes or other misleading images or videos of real people, fake documents or currency, or anything that infringes someone else's rights. Requests that look like this are refused before any credits are taken, the AI providers apply their own safety filters, and accounts that repeatedly try may be suspended.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our systems.
• Use automated tools to abuse free limits, collect free credits, or bypass Pro or credit requirements.
• Process files containing malware or material that violates applicable law.

Images and videos made with the AI Image Generator and AI Video Generator are produced by third-party AI models. We don't claim ownership of your results, but whether you may use them commercially depends on the terms of the AI provider behind the model you chose, and you are responsible for how you use them. Daily limits apply to these tools.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Your files and photos

You retain all rights to files you convert and photos you process with Quikbench, and to the results. For server-side (Pro) processing, files are used solely to complete your job and are deleted afterward. For AI tools, your photo is processed by our AI provider to create the result and is not kept by us afterward. We don't claim ownership of your content and don't use it to train AI models — see our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Emails

We send account emails needed to run the Service, such as confirmation codes, password reset codes and receipts. Tips and offers are sent only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe from them at any time.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features (including free features and free credits) at any time, though we'll try to give notice for significant changes affecting Pro subscribers or purchased credits.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that conversions or AI results will be error-free, that file or image quality will meet every use case, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or secure from all possible issues.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quikbench is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, files, or business, or the rejection of a photo or document by any third party, beyond the amount you paid us in the preceding 30 days.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. We'll update the "last updated" date above when changes are made.
