About Quikbench

Quikbench is a collection of file, PDF and AI photo tools built around one idea: your files shouldn't have to leave your device just to be converted, resized or merged. Most of what we offer runs entirely in your browser using modern web technology, so nothing is uploaded and there is nothing to delete afterwards.

What we make

• File and PDF tools. Convert images, audio, documents and more; merge, split, rearrange, compress, protect, unlock and OCR PDFs; compress and resize images to an exact size; plus calculators and typing tools for Indian languages.
• AI photo and document tools. Repair, colourise, upscale and animate old photos; edit photos with plain-language instructions; make passport and exam photos; describe images; read scanned documents in 90+ languages; and upscale blurry scanned PDFs.
• Shopify apps. CartBack and Barnest, for abandoned-cart recovery and store announcement bars, and QuikCRM, a separate product at crm.quikbench.com.

How your files are handled

Not every tool works the same way, so each tool page says which applies:

• In your browser (most tools). Your file is read and processed on your own device and is never sent to us.
• On our server (Pro and a few tools). Batch conversion and some demanding jobs, such as adding a PDF password, run on our server. The file is deleted as soon as the job finishes.
• AI tools. Your photo or document pages are sent to our server and then to an AI provider (we use Replicate, which runs models from Google, OpenAI and others) to produce the result. We don't keep the originals, and we don't use your files to train AI. Results may be held for a short time, up to 30 minutes, so your browser can collect them.

How Quikbench is funded

Everyday tools are free. We earn money from Pro, which adds batch processing and larger jobs; from AI credits, which you buy only when you need them, with no subscription; and from our Shopify apps. We may also show advertising on some free tool pages in future; if we do, we will say so in this page and in the Privacy Policy.

How we write our guides

Our guides explain the things our tools do: image formats, PDF handling, scanning and photo restoration. Each one shows when it was published, and we revise guides when a tool or a format changes. We say plainly what a tool can't do. For example, we tell you that our free PDF compressor won't shrink a scanned document much, and that AI restoration can subtly change a face. If you spot a mistake, please tell us and we'll correct it.
