Image Resizer

Any image type

Drop in one or more images. Choose to resize by exact pixel dimensions or by percentage, lock the aspect ratio if you want it preserved, then hit one button — a single image resizes and downloads immediately, multiple images resize and download together as a .zip.

About the Image Resizer

The Image Resizer is a Canvas-based tool, built on the same local-processing approach as Quikbench's other image tools. It changes the pixel dimensions of an image — shrinking or enlarging it — without ever uploading the file anywhere. Everything happens inside this browser tab.

> how it works ... your browser decodes the image onto a canvas, redraws it at the new size, and re-encodes it
> what we receive nothing — files never leave your device
> quality ........ full quality, equivalent to a server-side resize

Resize by dimensions or percentage

Switch between two modes. Dimensions mode lets you type an exact width and/or height in pixels — with the lock icon engaged, changing one field automatically updates the other to keep the original aspect ratio; unlock it if you want to stretch or squash the image into different proportions. Percentage mode scales every queued image by the same percentage of its own original size, which is useful when you're resizing a batch of differently-sized images by the same relative amount.

Works with any image type

Because resizing happens through your browser's built-in Canvas rendering, the tool accepts essentially any image format your browser can display — JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, and others. You can also choose to keep the original format on output, or convert to PNG, JPG, or WEBP at the same time as resizing.

Full quality, no compromise

Resizing is done with high-quality image smoothing enabled on the canvas, and images are re-encoded at maximum quality settings. There's no lossy round-trip through a server and no extra compression beyond what you'd get resizing the file on your own machine.

One click, single or batch

Queue a single image and the button resizes and downloads it in one click. Queue several, and the same click resizes every file and bundles the results into a single .zip — no separate "convert" then "download" step. Once a file's download has started, it's automatically cleared from the queue.
