The Image Resizer is a Canvas-based tool, built on the same local-processing approach as Quikbench's other image tools. It changes the pixel dimensions of an image — shrinking or enlarging it — without ever uploading the file anywhere. Everything happens inside this browser tab.
Switch between two modes. Dimensions mode lets you type an exact width and/or height in pixels — with the lock icon engaged, changing one field automatically updates the other to keep the original aspect ratio; unlock it if you want to stretch or squash the image into different proportions. Percentage mode scales every queued image by the same percentage of its own original size, which is useful when you're resizing a batch of differently-sized images by the same relative amount.
Because resizing happens through your browser's built-in Canvas rendering, the tool accepts essentially any image format your browser can display — JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, and others. You can also choose to keep the original format on output, or convert to PNG, JPG, or WEBP at the same time as resizing.
Resizing is done with high-quality image smoothing enabled on the canvas, and images are re-encoded at maximum quality settings. There's no lossy round-trip through a server and no extra compression beyond what you'd get resizing the file on your own machine.
Queue a single image or several, set a width, height, or percentage, and click "Resize all" — each file is resized and a Download button appears next to it, plus a "Download all (.zip)" option once more than one is done. Need different sizes for different images in the same batch? Click "Custom size" on any file to set its own width and height, resize just that one, then download it separately. Files stay in the queue until you refresh or leave the page, so you can re-download or adjust the size again if needed.
Resizing by exact pixel dimensions is useful when a platform has a specific requirement — a profile photo that must be exactly 400×400px, for example. Resizing by percentage is more useful when you just want to shrink a large photo for email or web use without worrying about the exact final pixel count.
Leaving aspect ratio locked prevents your image from looking stretched or squashed — the tool calculates the matching height (or width) automatically based on the original proportions. Only unlock it if you deliberately need to force an image into different proportions, which will crop or distort the content depending on how the tool handles the mismatch.
Lock the aspect ratio toggle while entering a new width or height, and the other dimension scales proportionally so your image doesn't stretch or squash.
Square posts are typically 1080×1080px, portrait posts 1080×1350px, and Stories/Reels 1080×1920px. Enter these exact dimensions to resize your image for each format.

There's no per-image size limit, but very high-resolution images (many tens of megapixels) will take longer to process since everything runs in your browser rather than on a server. Batches are capped at 20 files and 300MB combined, shown live as you add files, to keep the tab responsive.
