Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between CSV and TSV?
Both are plain-text tables. CSV separates columns with commas (and puts quotes around cells that contain commas); TSV separates them with tab characters. Amazon Seller Central, some databases and many import tools want TSV or tab-delimited .txt.
Will commas inside my cells break the conversion?
No. Quoted cells, commas and even line breaks inside a cell are read correctly. Because TSV can't hold tabs or line breaks inside a cell, those become spaces in the TSV output.
Why does Amazon say my sheet has only one column?
