Store Agent for Shopify

An AI agent that checks every product in your Shopify store, finds weak or missing SEO, and writes better versions for you to approve. Products that are already in good shape are left exactly as they are.

  • Checks product titles, SEO titles, meta descriptions, image alt text and descriptions
  • Writes fixes using only your product's real facts, never invented details
  • You approve every change (or choose auto-apply), and everything can be undone
  • First 5 products free per store, then 1 credit per product

How it works

  1. 1

    Connect your store

Sign in to Quikbench, type your store address (it ends in .myshopify.com) and press Connect Shopify. You need to be the store owner, or a staff member allowed to install apps.

  2. 2

    Install the app in Shopify

Shopify opens a screen titled “Install Quikbench Store Agent” that lists exactly what the app can access (see the table below). Press Install. Shopify brings you straight back to this page.

  3. 3

The agent reads and scores your products

Within a minute or two you'll see a Store SEO score out of 100 and how many products need better titles, SEO titles, meta descriptions, alt text or descriptions. Reading and scoring is free.

  4. 4

Choose what to fix and press “Write fixes”

Pick the fields, your brand name for SEO titles and any focus keywords. The agent writes new text only where a check failed; the button shows the number of products and the credit cost before you start.

  5. 5

    Review, then apply

Each suggestion is shown next to the current text. Edit it, tick Apply or press Skip. When you press Apply selected to my store, the changes go live in Shopify. The Applied tab keeps the old text so you can Undo any change.

  6. 6

A weekly check keeps it that way

Once a week the agent reads your products again. New or changed products with problems are flagged (or fixed within your weekly credit budget, if you turn that on) and you get a short email. If everything passes, nothing is changed.

Seeing “Approve in Shopify” on your store card? The agent needs one more permission to update image alt text (Shopify keeps product images in its Files area). Press Approve in Shopify, check the access list and confirm. It takes a few seconds and only has to be done once. Until then, everything else works; only alt-text fixes can't be applied.

What the app can access in your store

These are the only permissions the app asks Shopify for. Shopify shows the same list before you install.

PermissionWhy the agent needs it
View productsTo read titles, descriptions, SEO fields, images, vendor and tags so they can be checked.
Edit productsTo save the fixes you approve: product title, description, SEO title and meta description.
View and edit filesTo update the alt text on product images, which Shopify stores as files. It never deletes or uploads files.

The app cannot see or change orders, customers, payments, prices, stock, variants, themes or discounts.

What the agent checks

FieldFlagged when…What the fix looks like
Product titleToo short or too long, ALL CAPS, has an SKU or code, or the same as another product40–75 characters: the product name plus useful details (type, material, colour). No brand name.
SEO titleMissing, too short or long, or duplicated35–60 characters, ending with your brand, e.g. “Floral Pendant Necklace in Gold | Brand”
Meta descriptionMissing, too short or long, or duplicated130–155 characters: what it is, why it's worth buying and a short call to action
Image alt textMissing, very short or a file name like “IMG_2041.jpg”A plain description of the image, e.g. “Gold floral pendant necklace on a white background”
DescriptionMissing or very short120–250 words that keep every fact you wrote (sizes, materials, care), with a short list of key details

A product that passes every check is never touched. A fix you skip is not written again by the weekly check.

You stay in control

Ask me first (default)

Every fix waits in Waiting for review. Nothing in your store changes until you press Apply.

Apply automatically

Fixes go live as soon as they're written. You'll be asked to confirm before this is switched on, and every change is still listed under Applied with Undo.

Weekly budget

Weekly fixes stop at the credit budget you set (default 50 a week). Turn weekly writing off and the check only reports.

Frequently asked questions

Will it change products that are already fine?

No. The agent only writes fixes for fields that fail a check. The one exception is if you tick “Rewrite every…” yourself when writing fixes.

Does it change my store on its own?

Only if you choose “Apply automatically”. By default every fix waits for your approval, and any applied change can be undone from the Applied tab.

Where does the brand name go?

In the SEO title only (what Google shows as the link), e.g. “Pearl Drop Earrings | Brand”. Product titles are kept clean, unless your original title already includes the brand. Choose the product's vendor, your store name, a custom brand or none.

Will it invent features or claims?

No. The AI is limited to the facts already in your product — title, description, type, tags and vendor. It doesn't add prices, discounts or claims like “best”, and you see every word before it's applied.

Will this get me to the top of Google?

It fixes the on-page signals Google reads for every product. Rankings also depend on things outside your listings, such as competition, links to your site and site speed, so no tool can promise a position.

What data do you keep?

Your products' titles, descriptions, SEO fields and image addresses, so the agent can compare week to week, plus the fixes and their old values for Undo. No customer, order or payment data. Shopify's access key is stored encrypted. Details are in our privacy policy.

How do I disconnect or uninstall?

Press Disconnect on this page, then remove “Quikbench Store Agent” in Shopify → Settings → Apps. The access key is deleted immediately, and your store's data is erased within 48 hours of uninstalling.

Does it work on draft products?

Yes. Drafts are checked and fixed like live products, and a Draft products list shows which ones are ready to go live (a proper title, a description, at least one photo and a price). Publish them one by one, all at once, or turn on automatic publishing once their fixes are applied. Every publish can be undone from the Applied tab, which sets the product back to draft.

Can I connect more than one store?

Yes. Each store gets its own score, settings and 5 free products.
