Frequently asked questions
Which exams need a photo with name and date?
Several recruitment forms ask for it — for example some SSC, state public service commission, police, Agniveer and university forms. Your notification says so in the photo instructions, often as “name and date of photograph printed below the photo”.
Which date should I use?
The date the photo was taken. Most forms want a recent photo (within the last 3 months), so take a new photo if yours is old.
Should the name be in capital letters?
Most forms show it in capital letters, so we print it that way. Use the same spelling as in your application.
My form gives a different size — can I change it?
Yes. Choose Custom and type the width, height and KB range from your notification.
Name and date photos in seconds
Photo studios charge for this and still get the size wrong. Choose your photo, type your name and the date, pick your exam's size and download a JPG that's ready to upload.
Tips
- Use a recent photo with a plain light background, looking straight at the camera.
- Keep your face centred — drag the photo in the preview to adjust.
- Check the name spelling matches your application exactly.
