Frequently asked questions

Can someone remove the watermark?

The watermark is drawn onto each page as part of the PDF content, so it isn't a removable comment or layer. A determined person with editing software can still cover or edit it, as with any PDF watermark — tiled watermarks are the hardest to remove.

Does it support Hindi or other languages?

Yes. Text watermarks are drawn as an image, so any language your device can display works — Hindi, Tamil, Gujarati, Arabic and so on.

Will the text in my PDF still be searchable?

Yes. The original page content is untouched; the watermark is placed on top of it.

Can I watermark only some pages?

Yes — type the pages, for example 1-3, 5, in the Pages box. Leave it empty for every page.

How to add a watermark to a PDF

  1. Select or drop your PDF — the first page appears in the preview.
  2. Type your watermark text (any language) or choose Image / logo and pick a PNG or JPG.
  3. Choose One stamp (pick a position) or Tiled to repeat it across the page, then set size, angle and transparency. The preview updates as you go.
  4. Optionally limit it to some pages, press Add watermark and download.

Good watermark settings

  • CONFIDENTIAL or DRAFT: centre, 45°, red or grey, 20–30% transparency — readable but doesn't hide the content.
  • Protecting a design or price list: tiled, light grey, 15–20% — hard to crop out.
  • Company logo: a corner position, no angle, 40–60% — looks like letterhead.

Is it private?

The watermark is added in your browser with the PDF never leaving your device — safe for contracts, statements and internal documents.
