Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

2 AI credits per minute of audio. Everyone gets free AI credits each day, and credit packs start at ₹199 for 300 credits (about 2½ hours of subtitles). If something goes wrong, your credits are refunded automatically.

Which languages work?

Hindi, Punjabi, English, Urdu, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Nepali, Arabic, Spanish, French and German. Choose 'Detect automatically' if you're not sure. Hindi and Punjabi subtitles are written in their own scripts (Devanagari and Gurmukhi).

Is my video uploaded?

No — your browser takes the sound out of the video and only that is sent to our AI provider, which writes the subtitles. The audio is deleted straight after. For some formats the browser can't open, the whole file is uploaded and deleted after the same way.

How do I add the subtitles to YouTube?

In YouTube Studio, open the video, choose Subtitles, then Add → Upload file → With timing, and pick the SRT file.

Can I burn subtitles into the video for Instagram Reels?

Download the SRT and import it into CapCut, InShot, VN or Premiere Pro, which can style the captions and burn them into the video.

The subtitles are slightly early or late — how do I fix it?

Use the −0.5s and +0.5s timing buttons until they match the speech, then download.

How long can the video be?

Up to 60 minutes at a time, and files up to 500 MB. Split longer videos into parts.

Subtitles for Indian creators, in minutes

Most viewers watch with the sound off. Subtitles keep them watching, make your videos easier to find on YouTube and help people who are hard of hearing. Typing them by hand takes hours — this does it in minutes.

How it works

  • Choose your video or audio. Your browser takes out just the sound.
  • Pick the language (or let it detect it) and add any names it should spell right.
  • Check the words. Click any time to jump the video there, fix a word, or nudge the timing.
  • Download SRT for YouTube and editors, VTT for websites, or plain text for a description or blog.
