Never share an OTP, UPI PIN, password or card details — no bank, police or company will ever ask for them.

Frequently asked questions

What should I do if I already lost money?

Call 1930, the National Cyber Crime Helpline, straight away — the sooner you call, the better the chance of stopping the money. Also report it at cybercrime.gov.in and ask your bank to block your card or UPI.

Which scams can it spot?

Fake KYC and bank messages, electricity disconnection threats, "digital arrest" and fake police or courier calls, lottery and prize messages, part-time job and task scams, investment and trading groups, loan apps, UPI collect requests and "scan to receive money", fake customer care numbers, and messages from someone pretending to be a friend or relative.

Is the answer always right?

It is an AI check based on common fraud patterns, so treat it as a strong warning, not a guarantee. If something feels wrong, don't pay and don't share any code — call the bank or company on the number from their official website.

Do you keep my message?

No. Your message or screenshot is sent to the AI only to check it and is not saved. We only count how many checks were made.

How do I report a fraud call or SMS?

Report it on Chakshu at sancharsaathi.gov.in, and block the number. If money was lost, call 1930.
